Ethnographic complex Golden Sands
The idea of the investor for this project was to create a zone for a specific tourist experience: to give the tourists the opportunity to touch Bulgarian craftsmanship by creating a complex of pavilions – studios for work. The designated area for the construction site is long and shallow with a picturesque location. In the project the vegetation on site is preserved. The complex offers a variety of views while moving through it.
The complex consists of houses which are stylized version of the Bulgarian Revival house – tiles, porches, lots of wood and deep eaves. The idea was to create а селище затворен тип – to have a public square in the center, a clock tower and a mill with a water wheel. The project was to resemble Etara – an architectural-ethnographic complex in the mountains, but in our case to be at the seaside.
