Hotel complex Bolyari

The client came to us with a clear vision of what they wanted – a complex in the style of Medieval Bulgarian architecture: to consist a “fortress” that would be the hotel, and a “village” around it with houses for rent or for sale. The investor wanted a typical boyar village which is where the name of the project comes from – Bolyari.

From architectural point of view, the focal point of the project is the hotel which welcomes the guests and plays the role of a “fortress wall”. It has an open gallery overlooking the entrance and two towers. The rooms look over to the nearby Kilifarevo Monastery, which contributes to the overall atmosphere. Passing by the hotel, a “village” is developed further inside the property, consisting of the six types of houses which represent a stylized Medieval Bulgarian architecture and offer amenities for a different number of tenants or owners.
