Sports Hall Albena resort

This project marks the beginning of a long and fruitful partnership between Dikanski + Partners and Albena resort. Its main idea was to create a sports complex with a hotel, where there would be a gym and a hall suitable for different types of sport.

The site for the development of this project has a large displacement of the terrain which is put into use to the maximum. What is specific for the project is that if offers a connection between the “lower” and “upper” areas of the Albena resort. The comfortable field of vision of the stands coincides perfectly with the natural displacement which gives the building the opportunity to “lie” on the terrain. The playing field comes at four meters above the ground floor and beneath are the dressing rooms, the trainers’ halls, the offices of the journalists, balneology, and others.
